Had to wait 15 minutes so I called them and asked if they could send someone to take me to order then when I got my food I got a smothered breakfast burrito and a green chili was freezing cold. Not good at all.
Very good food. Caesar salad was amazing. First waitress was a little lost, but in shift change the next waiter answered all our questions, and offered a beautiful desert tray. Cup cakes were delicious.
No salad served with entree. No au jus with the French dip. Watermelon margarita tasted like fish water (entire table tasted it). ABSOLUTELY nothing taken off bill.
Good good at a decent price. A good place for lunch because they are pretty quick. Probably the best atmosphere in town. Also, if you're looking for morning booze, this is the place. Great bloody Mary's.
Waited over 1hr AT the table and the place was not even busy. A lot of people standing around. They could not cook a hamburger correctly and spent another 30 mins to try to cook another. Was there for a total of 2 hrs because of the inept kitchen staff and owners. Should have taken the advice I heard from everyone in the small town. "Don't go. They are super slow and the food is way overpriced". They were right. Save yourself the frustration and money and avoid this place. Terrible.
Great service. Had a scone and a muffin on 2 separate occassions. Both were fresh. Coffee is the best I've had in town.
Really good food, was $22 for two to eat breakfast with one soda and a water
Wife and I come here quite often. Great food, good adult drink selection as well. Never had an issue with being seated or served. Haven't tried anything from the bakery area yet but will soon.
The menu has great options, the food came out quickly and was good. Our waitress was friendly, but not overbearing. And the prices are very reasonable. Best food stop we've had on our trip so far.
First time we had it, my boyfriend was told to wait while they took the order of someone who was there after us. The second time, we waited 5-10 minutes to be seated (no waiting list). Then we waited another 10-15 minutes to even have a server come, they still didn't come so we just left. While we were leaving, we were told it was a "good choice". I would give them -10 stars if I could. Will never return.
Brownies we're excellent. We waited for our drinks for about 10 minutes and the size of one was incorrect but...they all tasted great.
So amazing, I can't even describe the wait staff that does such an amazing job!!!!
Always good food. Friendly staff. Great baked goods.
The Old Town Bistro was a pleasant place to dine after a long day's drive. Glass wine selections were decent. The menu had a nice variety of choices; there's something for everyone. The portions were just right - not excessive, as seems to be the trend these days. (I had the Chicken Marsala; it was very good.) The waitstaff was attentive, but not overbearing. You can't go wrong here.
Great service. Good food. Specialty coffees
I had not had a good experience with lunch here in the first year of business and hadn't heard good things to make me come back since. Today we decided to try it for breakfast with other restaurants being very busy. So glad we did! Service was much quicker than before, Spinach omelette was huge and delicious, my French Toast was really eggy and yummy. The potatoes that came with the omelette were the one let down: obviously preprepped with a crisp crust and nothing inside. Will definitely come back for breakfast!
Best hot roast beef dinner i have had the pleasure of enjoying in awhile... This to me seems to be a lost comfort food... Totally my fav!!!! Nice work chef!
Great eats! Stopped for lunch and enjoyed a delicious house salad with blue cheese dressing, Reuben sandwiches and sweet potato fries. Would have preferred the fries to be more crispy but all flavors were worth the stop. The adjoining bakery /coffee bar was an aromatic delight!
We have been here five times in the last two months and everything has been exceptional. The menu has creativity, the service is fantastic, and we found a gem on our travels on the interstate. It is worth it to stop and enjoy a meal here!
This is the third time I have tried to go here and enjoy a good meal. It is also my last time. I have yet to enjoy a good meal or be waited on in a competent manner. It is a shame, this place is in such a nice facility and location, I hope when it closes somebody will be able to take it over and run it better.
Awesome coffee, great food if a bit pricey
Good food only complaint was the salad came out with the meal not before like it should have. Pricing is good. Large portions.
Very good. Nice place, good food and very friendly.
The service was really good tonight along with the food. A lot better then it was on Sunday. That day I wouldn't have even given 1 star.
The food was delicious and the service was great! We visited while driving cross country and accidentally left a credit card behind and they mailed it to us right away! We are forever grateful!
Great Food, great beer and even better service. 5 stars!
My favorite part of the meal was the complimentary bread. It was warm and delicious. The $10 French dip sandwich was ok. It came with 1 side, and I went with soup. The French onion soup was very good with gooey cheese and the bread on top was soft. The sweet potato fries were ok.Some other menu items included: steaks, fish, chicken, pasta, burgers, and sandwiches. There's a parking lot in the back and street parking available.
Sunday morning breakfast. I had scrabble eggs made just right light fluffy, country potatoes , bacon which was thick and cooked just right. The best part was pork green chile. Not too hot with a nice balance. Coffee and juice to round out the perfect breakfast. Service was perfect not hurried friendly attentive.
What a gem! Reasonable prices, delicious food, attractive presentation--totally unexpected in this small town. The atmosphere was pretty good--the decor was ok and everything looked very clean. Our server was kind, efficient, and helpful. Don't opt for fast food or a national chain if you have the chance to support this delightful local business.
I absolutely LOVE the lasagna here! I'm a picky eater with several food allergies, so I substitute Alfredo sauce instead of marinara and it's delicious! Very savory, hearty, meaty lasagna! For dessert, or an afternoon snack, I highly recommend the peanut butter cookies!!
I've been at the Old Town Bistro 4 times now. Each meal that I had was outstanding the service was great and the prices are fair. You got to try this place so come on down to the Old Bistro
Went here for lunch with our dogs so we sat outside. Notified staff we were outside and nearly 30 mins later nobody had come to serve us. Nothing at all. We packed up and walked down to Sam & Louis who welcomed us and our dogs to their outside seating area.
Very good sandwiches, salads, and soup. Everyone in our party gave it a thumbs up.
Very good food served in a clean and comfortable venue by a pleasant server.
Breakfast isn't anything to brag about but dinner is always great. Went on Valentines day without reservation and was seated immediately. The special menus are truly unique and make you want everything. Good Job.
Very tasty sandwiches and salads. The service was good too.
They forgot some of topping on my chicken sandwich & they put my sweet potato fries on my husband's plate instead of mind.
Wonderful steaks. Perfect meal. Aileen is a great waitress and Joe a charming host. Best steaks in town. Love our small town taste of the city.
Not the same experience I had 2 years ago. Less staff. Food was still excellent and delicious but the lunch staff seemed to be in no hurry to take orders or check up on customers as they ate. Still a decent place to eat but I hope the staffing improves.
Homemade soups, delicious salads, with many other excellent choices. A full pastry/coffee shop as well. Reasonable prices. Highly recommended. Bring your jacket though, a little cold.
Stopped here for lunch on our way to Denver. Excellent food and fast, attentive service. The building/atmosphere is very nice as well. Would defintitely recommend.
Really good food. Three of us ate and all enjoyed the food. I had the Fish (cod) and Chips. It was hand-breaded, cooked just right (flakey but still moist) with small wedged potatoes. The tea was strong and fresh. The service was attentive with frequent refills. Good flavor with a pleasant atmosphere. I will be back. (I was told by my local coworkers that the burgers are excellent.)
We were traveling thru CO with our little dog and needed to find a place to eat lunch with outdoor seating. It wasn't listed on my Google search, but luckily, we happened upon this bistro in Sterling...great food and service!
Thw mosr delicious baked goods. Better frappuccino than Starbucks, ten fold
My husband and I went here for Mother's day and I understand they where busy. But we waited an hour and half for our food and when it came my salmon frittata was dried out and his eggs Benedict had maybe a tablespoon of hollandaise sauce on it. The waitress kept coming to our table to tell us our food was coming right out and offered us coffee for the wait but charged us for it. I will never again wait that long for my food no matter what the wait person says. Very disappointed!
Birthday dinner , place was awesome , great rib eye and drinks were on point . Sonia you rock girl , love ya boo 😊
The food was good. The service was good but still a little slow. We had 2 kids with us and they get antsy so you notice it more.
Wonderful!! The Turtle bar for dessert was fantastic. The ribeye sandwich was awesome. Hot beef sandwich also great. The service was very good.
It was decent... a little overpriced for the quality of the food. Staff was very nice though!
